Well, here I am on January 4 finally taking a look at this blog and looking forward to what it will become. It is raining heavily outside...that in itself generates many memories of the chalet....the warmth of the lake in the rain, the beating of the rain on the roof while we watched the lighting and listened to the thunder..."one hippopotamus...two hippopotamus...three..." the occasional rush to find a pot if a leak started...finding a tree struck by lightning the next day...how much did the lake go up by? One topic many varied memories....
